Playdough- 3 Ingredients
3/4 cup cornstarch 1 cup baking soda
3/4 cup water optional: 2-3 drops of essential oils / food colouring
Add the water, cornstarch and baking soda to a saucepan. Place the saucepan on the stove, turn the heat to medium, stirring constantly. Once it starts to boil, it will begin to turn solid very quickly. Once a ball starts to form take the pan off the heat. Once cool knead the dough, the food colouring and essential oil can be added at this point and its ready to go.
Homemade Watering Can
Take a 2 litre plastic milk carton and drill 5/ 6 tiny holes in the cap, for a nice soft drizzle of water. Drill another hole in the handle of the carton. This will act as an air hole and will ensure a steady flow of water.
The carton can be decorated with paints and crayons.

Empty Water bottle Vegetable Oil Water
Food Colouring Alka-Seltzer Tablets
Fill an empty water bottle 2/3 of the way with vegetable oil. Fill the remaining 1/3 with water leaving a little room at the top. Add the food colouring and stir gently, do not shake as this will create air bubbles. Cut the Alka-Seltzer in quarters and drop one quarter in at a time, observe the effect.

10 ml dish soap 100 ml cold water
400 ml white vinegar 2-3 drops Food colouring
Baking soda solution (combine 1/2 cup baking soda, ½ cup water-mix well)
Empty 2 litre bottle
Place the vinegar, water, dish soap, food colouring in the empty bottle and mix with a spoon. Add the baking soda solution and step back quickly. Carbon Dioxide is created by the combination of baking soda and vinegar. This is what causes the volcano to erupt.
Bowl Cotton buds White paper Hair dryer Lemon Juice
Squeeze a lemon into a bowl. Dip the cotton bud in the juice and using it as a pen write a secret message on the paper. The writing will fade as the juice seeps into the paper. The paper will appear to be blank but when the blow dryer is used, the lemon juice will turn brown, revealing the hidden message.
