LET'S GO! SUMMER CAMPS
Let’s Go! Summer Schools was founded by Kevin O’ Brien and Eileen Sheehy, both Physical Education graduates of Thomond College of Education Limerick. With over 40 years experience, Let's Go! has become the No 1 choice for multi activity camps in Ireland. With a tradition of excellence, and an enthusiastic team that are passionate about delivering the best camp experience for your child, we are delighted to launch our 2024 Easter and Summer camps
SUMMER AND EASTER CAMPS
In this period of time we have gained invaluable experience in the area of design and implementation of camp programmes. Eileen and Kevin take great pride in their camps. They are constantly changing and adapting their programme to meet the needs of all our campers and their parents. We combine structured educational sessions with the fun and games synonymous with Summer and Easter camps. We run in venues nationwide for children aged between 5 and 12 years(child must have spent one full year in primary school). Each Easter and Summer we look forward to meeting new campers and welcoming back familiar faces.
At Let’s Go! Summer Schools your child comes first. At the end of each day we want every child to take home a smile. The emphasis on our camps is on taking part. Our daily programme is designed to ensure excitement, fun and variety.
We combine structured educational sessions with the fun and games synonymous with activity camps. There’s never a dull moment as each day is crammed with activity from start to finish. We will offer your child the opportunity to try new activities, learn new skills, to make new friends, and ultimately have great fun in a safe environment under the supervision of our caring qualified teaching staff.
Our camps run Monday to Friday. The only exception to this is after a bank holiday weekend, when the camp runs Tuesday to Saturday. The day begins at 9:30 a.m. and finishes at 3:30 p.m. (Times may vary at some venues which can be 9am to 3pm or 10am to 4pm).
Registration takes place on the first morning of the camp. At this stage children are divided into groups according to their age. Our camp manager will welcome all the campers and introduce our staff to them. Classes commence no later than 10.30 a.m. on the first morning. An attendance roll is taken each morning.
Class duration is an average of 40 minutes. Each child will have an opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities throughout the week(Please note that for Health & Safety reasons children may be asked to remove glasses, shoes, socks, peaked caps on some activities).
Children will have two supervised breaks each day. Your child will need to bring a packed lunch, snacks and plenty of drinks with them.
Children should not bring mobile phones to camp. Should they require them after camp, they must remain powered off in their bags. We are not responsible for lost or damaged phones.
We are working to implement a contactless collection procedure. To avoid congestion, we may stagger collection times. If you have more than one child to collect, they can all be collected at the one collection time. If the weather becomes very inclement for a sustained period of time we may have to contact you to collect your child early
Due to restrictions this summer , activities will be happening outdoors, so please ensure your child/children has rain gear with them at all times. Please note that for Health & Safety reasons children may be asked to remove glasses, shoes, socks, peaked caps on some activities.
