Parent Guide Easter
Dear Parents,
At Let’s Go! Multi Sports Easter Camp, your child is our primary concern. We have been operating Summer Camps for over 35 years. In that time we have become the No 1 choice for multi activity summer camps in Ireland. With a tradition of excellence, and an enthusiastic team that are passionate about delivering the best camp experience for your child, we are delighted to launch our 2024 Let’s Go! Easter experience.
We pride ourselves on our child friendly, professional staff who are trained to ensure the needs of all our campers are met. The emphasis on all our camps is on taking part. Our daily programme is designed to ensure excitement, fun and variety in each day. We are proud of our camps, they have been tried and tested and we know that our programme will offer your child a very worthwhile experience.
Registration and Group Organisation
Registration will take place on the first morning of the camp at 9:30am. Each child will be allocated a group for the week.
Being in the right group is very important to children. It is very important to us too! Children are grouped according to their age. This is by far the most practical method when one has to organise a range of creative and physical activities. Children often ask to be placed with their brother/sister/friend. We will always try our best to accommodate your request provided the children are roughly the same age and in the same programme As some activities on our programme are physically challenging, it is not appropriate to have children of various ages in the one group. Please do not worry as this system is tried and tested and works well.
Friends
Should your child not have a friend going to camp, do not worry, as our staff will introduce your child to new friends during our start the day icebreaker and name game activities.
Lunch
There will be two breaks each day. As the children may be more active than usual it is essential that they are taking enough fuel on board. They will need to bring a packed lunch and 3-4 non fizzy drinks. Break and lunchtime are fully supervised by our staff.
Weather
In hot weather: ensure your child has plenty of drinks, a sun hat and apply sun protection cream.
In inclement weather: ensure your child wears appropriate rain wear to camp.
Footwear
Please ensure that your child wears runners to the camp each day.
Notice Board
Our Easter Camp notice board is located outside the main entrance. This is updated daily and all the information regarding activities, what your child needs etc will be available there.
Lost Property
Each evening any lost property will be displayed in the hall. Please ensure that all your child’s belongings are labelled.
Collecting your child
Camp ends at 3.30 p.m. In the interest of safety, children will leave the hall each evening in their groups accompanied by our staff. All children must be collected at the collection point by a Parent/Guardian. To avoid congestion, we will stagger this process. The oldest group will leave first (younger children on camp will be allowed to exit with their older siblings) and will be followed in turn by all other groups.
***Campers are automatically enrolled for a full day 9:30am – 3:30pm. However if you wish, you may collect your child earlier by prior arrangement with the camp manager.***
